CNRS, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, is a public
basic-research organisation. CNRS has 26,080 employees in 1,260 service
and research units spread throughout the country and covers all fields
of research. The lab. CEPN - Centre d’Economie de Paris Nord (UMR 7115)
is a Joint Research Unit (JRU) set up by the CNRS and the Université
Paris Nord (UP13).
CEPN is a team of some thirty five researchers of Paris 13 University (Paris Nord) associated with the CNRS.
Research at CEPN encompasses three major fields: 1. economics of
organisations and innovation; 2. international finance; 3.
macro-economics and international economy. The researches carried out
within these three fields are based on a common perspective, i.e.
structural analysis of contemporary economies, attaching great
importance to the study of public institutions and history. Issues
